PCOS/PCOD Hormonal imbal

Hello Doctor,

How cureable is this, how can she get pregnant, she had a Miscarriage last November. Now from March we are trying for Baby.  She is under medication. Can  we have a baby we are literally worried.

PCOD is a metabolic syndrome that is related to lifestyle. So you can manage it not cure it.
Your worry and concern is legitimate especially since there has been a miscarriage. It is difficult to believe everything you hear under such circumstances. The good thing is that you are able to get pregnant. Miscarriage is very common even without PCOD. One in five pregnancies ends in miscarriage. 95% of people having miscarriages will go on to have a successful pregnancy. So although it feels worrying now, the outlook is quite good. You need to focus on managing the lifestyle that caused PCOD in the first place. This includes, exercise, positive attitude, rest and nutrition.
