PCOD due to few days thyroxin overdose?
I am on 100 mcg thyroxine since last 10 years. For last 6-7 days, I deliberately took half tablet i. e. 50 mcg thyroxine extra daily (150 mcg daily) And then I stopped it after i experienced increased hearbeat for a few days After 4-5 days, i went for USG abdomen and the report says there can be PCOD (normal sized ovaries with multiple small GF) I have no pcod symptoms and have regular periods, no facial hair but I am slightly overweight Did I get PCOD due to few days of thyroxine overdose? Will it cure on its own as i go on with my normal thyroxine dose?

Nope you did not get pcod bcz of increased dose . But why did you take the dose deliberately? Take the medications only as advised else it could have ill effects on your body , don’t self medicate ! And the findings mentioned in the usg doesn’t make you a pcos patient. The diagnosis of pcos takes into account multiple things , consult if you have any other symptoms or query.
