PCL grade 1 right knee
My brother had a accident and got PCl injury on right knee. The injury is PCL grade 1. What are possible treatments ? Please explain me the nonoperative treatment and what are long term effects ?

Hello, first of all I will suggest him to go for surgery if required even it's a grade 1 Injury because he is  very young to bear this type of injury . There is a hope to recover after rest, immobilization and medicines but in future he can't put all his wait during brisk walk or running. After 50 years of age some of Surgeons don't suggest for surgery in that case.
Next Steps
go for medicines, rest for 3 weeks atleast
Health Tips
No Knee movement, Avoid squatting, avoid standing and walking. Apply cold packs. No exercises for 2-3 weeks
