I visited a psychiatrist after using a substance on 2 day interval basis. On new year's i quit and wanted to make a change. 2 days later i was experiencing mild withdrawal symptoms . I entered the room and the doc asked me why i have come and i replied and he asked me to wait outside. Then he had a conversation where he broke it to my relative. Im an NRI. I have seen this relative hardly like 5-7 times in my life. Is it even legal for the psychiatrist to treat me that way?more over he said millions of people come to him for help and most of them relapse , so he says i am not any different. Im really offended and its been on my mind for past 4 days. Ive never been treated this way before . I have a followup in 6 days and honestly i am scared to face him. Any notes please?
