Part of tampon has ripped and is stuck

Asked for Female, 28 Years

I have part of tampon stuck inside me...i cannot feel it. I've had it in for about 7 hours. I went to a+e and I was told there wad a 10 hour wait and it would be better to go home and see a g.p tomorrow or a clinic but I'm feeling paranoid about it
