PAROTID GLANDS
Respected Sir/Madam,
Sub:- Glands swelled,
Both side of my parotid glands are swelled from last 5 years, I don't have pain, I was visited ENT specialist doctor , He did MRI scan, ultra scan & some blood test, but all are normal expect parotid, he said to me your parotid Glands are enlarged but don't worried its by birth,
As per my observation Glands size are every year going to increasing, I m maintaining well diet & oily food also avoided, Doing regular exercise still my face swelled,

Progressive bilateral enlargement of parotid glands is usually related metabolic causes and sometimes called as sialadenosis. Obesity, alcoholism, diabetes, high lipid content in blood are common causes. Usually no treatment is required. If they are significantly enlarged so as to cause cosmetic problems only treatment is undergoing surgery which has got associated risk of facial nerve injury and scarring
