Hello hello dear you should go through psychiatric medicine and counselling the combination of both will definitely help you and be confident that you can defeat the depression
Hi, it looks like something is making you feel extremely anxious. It also looks like you are worried about your fears. Do not worry it is common to have fears and phobia and it is important to identify what is causing fear and phobia. You also want to know the reason behind why you feel calm in the dark with one person but at other times you are afraid of the dark. About your situation you can consult with a Counselor. A Counselor will help identify what is causing extreme anxiety and fears. A Counselor will also help identify what is causing you to feel calm in darkness with one person although in general you are afraid of darkness.
As stated by you, when uou can stay calm with the person whom you like in darkness, it is a state of mind/belief.
You can work on that perspective and can overcome this issue.
Seek a professional support and you can see yourself the changes in your life..
More info is required but even if you are comfortable with one person then darkness is not the issue.
The reason as I see it could be the following.
1. Are you trying to keep a secret?
2. Have you lost some ones recently?
3. Do you get morbid thoughts?
If so Cbt might be an option or more therapy with talk therapy.
