Palpable Lymph nodes (less than 1 cm)
Since past few months , I can feel my Lower Neck has A rubbery round node, it's not hurting or grown in size. But does that mean it's cancerous. Been recommended to go for Neck USG for evaluation- Having a history of Smoking, I would like to know if this is cause of concern - Please also suggest ways to reduce this inflammation -

If u feel that there is a lower neck swelling which is persisting you need to consult a physician and get an ultrasound and chest x ray done. It can be inflammatory swelling and can take a course of antibiotics and see if its subsiding.

It would be better to do an USG and see if any sonological features of malignancy is there in the node. Also can see if other nodes are there in any of the other neck node stations. Consider doing blood tests like complete blood count, LDH, uric acid , electrolytes. Also see if you have any other relevant symptoms which you should notify treating doctor. Based on the USG findings, can decide if an FNA or biopsy would be apt. Also there is possibility that this could just be an infective node. Anyway let the USG happen.
Next Steps
USG neck, blood tests as mentioned
