Pain while passing bowel
Hi,around 6 months back,I was diagnosed with an anal fissure. My doctor gave a course of Ciplox-TZ,SN-15 plus with Anovate cream (also asked to take daily sitz baths),also gave Duphalac syrup.I was cured from the fissure/pain for abt 5 months,but just recently I am feeling the same pain (straining during BM) and getting a tear like sensation when the stool passes out.After BM,there seems to be a swelling for some time which goes away as the day passes (after cream apply). Ok to repeat same dose?

Fissures are known to recur. Prevent occurance by drinking plenty of water and eating food rich in fibre. Prevention is the only way out. You may repeat the last 2 medications.
