Dear practo user
Pain can arise due to number of reasons, and cavity is one of them. So to get a more clear diagnosis, please send pictures or xrays and describe your problem in detail ... when the pain started , how it started, aggravating and relieving factors, DENTAL history etc. Using painkillers without medical supervision is not recommended.
