  4. Pain Under Tongue. Afraid. please help.

Pain Under Tongue
Hello Doctor, I was developed a pain in left side of throat in last May. Doctor had done endoscopy, nothing was found. But pain was continued, but pain was less . Recently again started paining, went to doctor and he checked under the left side of the tongue. It is painful under the deep tongue, feeling like sore under tongue. No pain in other part of the tongue. What can be the reason. I am afraid. please help.

Reasons can be many. A simple apthous, a carious tooth, inflammed sublingual or submandibular gland. You need proper evaluation. Consult me here on practo so that I can take a detailed history and advise you accordingly
