There can be a ligament tear o r any muscular pull. Best can bemanually assesss by a physiotherapist. Need to to go to a physiotherapist who can observe if there is any pain on active/passive/resisted movement, tenderness, presence of any swelling or muscle weakness.
Physiotherapy treatment(Paraffin wax therapy+Ultrasonic therapy+wrist strengthening exercises as required) is to be done.
Avoid manual exertion,no cold exposure, do hot water fomentation and full ranfe wrist movements at 3 hrs intervals, avoid hanging of handas sometimes it increases swelling and pain..
Greetings. Sorry about your pain. From your description it seems to be a ligament sprain coupled with poor muscle strength
Get your self a physio session or let me know what treatment process you underwent during this time, can assist you with this information in a better way.
