I am having pain in my tailbone and on the skin immediately around it (exactly at the upper part of the junction where two buttcheeks join)
It happens when I am laying down on my back and my butt is pressing on that area. It's very painful and makes sleeping difficult.
I already have a bed sore just above that area for many years but now it has dried up. This new complaint of tailbone pain has been present since just over 1 week.
Don't know if the problem is dermatological or orthopaedic. Whom to consult? What could be the reason?
