Pain near navel

Asked for Female, 23 Years

Today morning when i drank water(after passing motion)suddenly i had a heavy feeling and discomfort near my navel,then i passed foul smelling gas,(also felt like passing motion)my pain subsided...is it some infection??(just completed taking ciprova 500,for some suspected infection)Has the infection still not subsided??kindly answer

One or episodes may happen because of various non significant reasons but if problem PERSISTS then yes Infection has to be ruled out. Other inflammatory causes also need to be evaluated.
