Pain near ears while eating

Hi, I am getting pain near to my ears while chewing and little swelling...I am also wearing dental braces. Can you please suggest me on this.

This might be referred otalgia. That is pain presenting in the ear because of problem elsewhere. In ur case, it might be dental braces irritating nerves supplying teeth & also ear, second possibility very unlikely in ur case is temporo mandibular joint infection. That is infection in joint just in front of ear entrance. In both cases take simple pain killers n mouth gargles. Avoid wearing braces for few days or check the fitting
