Pain just above knee
From past one month, i have developed pain just above my knee (both legs). While sitting down and getting up, the pain is is severe but i do not have any issues while walking. I am yet to visit a orthopedic doctor. Could you please tell me what could be the issue and measure that can be taken

Hi... The pain what you experience could be due to tight front thigh muscle.. Which could happen when you use more of your toe walking... I would like to recommend icing in that painfully area.. Knead gently over the painful area.. Stretch the front thigh muscle bending your knee so that your heel touches your butt muscle and hold it...it will be bit painful but try and hold it as far you can withstand...and ice it after that...
