What is the age of the patient? In old age there often develops osteoarthritis which can be the cause of pain. Please consult for further opinion after clinical examination and detailed history, then only will be able to opine better.

Hi, Was there any history of injury? Any pain in other fingers? Is there also pain on pressing or doing movements? Consult directly so proper history can be taken and management can be suggested accordingly
