hello, you need to visit a dentist and get an x-ray done. if there is infection to the root of the tooth, you need to get it treated and then get a crown placed over it. if not, you can go for composite veneer or crown.

Get a RCT done of the tooth if the fracture involves the nerve..and later on a Crown made. If the fracture is not involving the nerve a composite filling can be attempted.

Assuming it is your front tooth and depending on how much of the tooth is broken your dentist will have three options 1. Bond the broken bit of the tooth back provided you have that piece with you 2. Cosmetic filling (composite) 3. A ceramic veneer Only in severe cases where the nerve is exposed etc a root canal treatment may be required. A clinical examination and an xray will help the dentist come to the right treatment plan.
Next Steps
Find an experienced dentist who does cosmetic work on a routine basis.
Health Tips
Do not go for a full crown until all other possibilities of repair have been eliminated.

Hello, you can consult an Endodontist to check if it can be saved with a Root canal treatment or it may also require a post/core.It all depends on the remaining tooth structure. Regards Dr Sumanmakam
