Pain in right side of the ankle.
Hello, I play football. I encountered a jerk the other day while playing, on my heel. since then there has been a sharp pain in the right side of the ankle. I googled about it and came across a situation called the tarsal tunnel. Please reply. thank you.

Avoid sitting Cross legged. Ankle Stretching. Ankle Strengthening Exercises. Avoid Squatting. Quadriceps Exercises. Core Strenthening Exercises.

Its look like u got sprain in ankle.Apply ice for 10mins twicw a day.use ankle brace and possible than dont wear tight shoes.

u can consult physiotherapist for treatment. Ultra Sound will help u to heal faster And exercise for prevention.
Health Tips
Avoid sports activity untill everything is in good condition. Once your pain is less start ankle strenghtening exercise, proprioception exercise.

Your pain could be due to ankle sprain. You need to wear ankle binder brace , apply ice on regular basis and avoid sports till pain has completely  resolved. If pain persists in spite of these measures then get an x ray.
