Pain in right shoulder and arm
I am a software engineer. I sometimes feel pain in my right shoulder/neck. It usually goes away after 6-7 days. But this time pain started 11 days ago. Earlier it was just right shoulder blade, the after two days pain became severe in neck and shoulder region. Again after 2 daya it subsided. Now it ia medim intensity and low intensity pain on and off in shoulder and right arm. When i am lying down on bed i dont feel any pain, but i feel pain when m in sitting position without inclined backrest. Please suggest

You being a software engineer is suffering of cervical pain because of too much stress on your neck.
Next Steps
Try using low pillow , correct posture while working on laptops/ computer , frequent breaks while working & hot water fomentation. Get your cervical spine x ray for more clarification.
