  4. Pain in one of the finger knuckle. This?

Pain in one of the finger knuckle
My husband is having pain under the skin of one of knuckles of right hand for past two days and today there is some redness, inflammation along with the mild swelling. There is no mark of injury, it pains like boil but no boil is visible. I am attaching the image herewith for your reference, kindly help us understand what is it and shall we see a doctor for this? Regards

If pain is without injury, then it needs to be investigated. Anyway you may try paracetamol 500mg bd × 2 days.
