  4. Pain in left chest. We should consult?

Pain in left chest
My wife is having pain and swelling in left chest. There is a spot in the x-ray attached where it pains the most. She wants to vomit but no vomiting. Kindly advise to which specialist doctor we should consult? General physician has said her x-ray is normal.

X ray looks normal, she has some swelling and pain on chest . Is she lactating or breast feeding ? She should actually be seen by a surgeon 1st to r/ o any breast lump or abscess.

Hello, If her x ray is normal, ECG & ECHO are also normal then chances of Costochondritis are more I.e. inflammation in ribs due to direct hit or over pressure over chest area. Need physiotherapy for the same. Ultrasonic intensities are different for Costochondritis. So better go according to protocol wise. Take care
