Pain in infusion site
I had iron infusion 10 days.i had swelling while infusion so i stopped immediately .. swelling was there for 4 days . Swelling have reduced but pain in my elbow is there above infusion site . I am applying thrombopheb ointment and heat .. there is no color change in that area. Please help with this .. is it any problem inside .. damage to inner area. Please help

Please use cold and thrombophob. Moreover thrombophob isnt supposed to be massaged.

It sometimes happens if the injection contents leak to the surrounding tissue, there is nothing to worry, it will get absorbed in 2 to 3 weeks. Don’t massage the area & don’t do hot fomentation
