Pain in hip(left)
Constant piercing pain in the hip.its more when I lie down and try to move my leg.occurs roughly once in a month for a week or so.

Thanks for asking me to respond. Pain around the hip region could be due to issues in the hip joint or did to disc related problems arising in the spine. You will need to get xrays of these two regions done. Please visit an ortho surgeon who can examine the regions and order the appropriate xrays. He can also prescribe meds to keep the pain under control. I cannot prescribe meds as Practo prohibits me from doing so. Good luck.
