  4. Pain in ear. What can be the problem?

Pain in ear
Since yesterday evening my ear has started paining and I feel it's swollen a bit too. I had tried cleaning it with a metal stick a day ago. What can be the problem? I took a painkiller yesterday and now I'm better with less pain even after a day of taking the painkiller.
