I have done left sided angioplasty in the month of December 2019. There is 70% blockage remaining in right side of chest. I have low BP after angioplasty. The previous medicines were: Axcer, revastatin, aspirin and metoprolol. After 4 months of angioplasty, I have continuous pain in both sides of chest, both leg and both hand. After consultation with doctor, he stopped metoprolol and given nitroglycerin. After giving nitroglycerin, the pain has gone. My question is whether pain has permanently gone or if doctor stopped nitroglycerin, the pain will come and what is the cause of pain and treatment for that. Thanking You in advance.

I think you need further evaluation. The pain you are describing is likely to be due to block is right side because that pain is subsiding with nitroglycerin. Go ahead and undergo angioplasty of right side.
Hello,
This pain may be anginal pain as it is relieved after nitroglycerin. Might be due to 70% right sided stenosis or restenosis in the stent. Get your ECG, Echo and TMT or PET MPI done to decide further management.
Take care. Stay safe.
