Anal Fissure can be completely treated without surgery by Graded Kshar Karma treatment. In this treatment; a specialized Ayurvedic medicine namely Graded Kshar is applied in fissure region which debrides the fissure and promotes healing. Generally, fissure heals completely in 3-5 Graded Kshar Karma sittings at weekly intervals. In the mean time you should take Sitz bath (Hot water tub bath) followed by application of some soothing ointment or coconut oil in the anal region. For normal bowel movement; you may take some stool softening medicine like Haritaki churna with warm water at night. For further support & clinical evaluation of your case; you may call reception at Sushruta Ano Rectal Institute.
