I had a root canal done in my lower left molar tooth yesterday...despite anesthesia i felt extreme pain during the procedure... was my tooth not numb enough...i have to go again for the second sitting...i m scared to death thinking of pain...can i ask for anesthesia in second sitting

Is there any pus surrounding the tooth? Sometimes because of that the anesthesia may not work properly. Maybe that's why you had pain. And yes you can ask for anesthesia during your second sitting.
