Pain during intercourse

Am 25F married 1.5yrs back. I get pain during intercourse and using lignocine gel. How far it is dangerous for conceiving. If it is dangerous please tell another gel which will reduce pain and i cam conceive. Please suggest

Hi there...dyspareunia, that is, pain during intercourse can occur due to a number of reasons like pelvic inflammatory disease, endometriosis, fibromas, insufficient lubrication, vaginismus, etc. It will need a detailed clinical examination and further tests. Please do not self medicate especially when it is for such long duration and kindly consult a nearby gynecologist for further evaluation.
