Pain & stretch in left Neck & shoulder
After workout I am feeling pain & stretch in my left neck & shoulder from 3 day. Unable to sleep properly and any work, also feeling pain while moving my head. Please advise how I can get relief.

Shoulder pain with stretch in neck ? It can be due to Over-use or over-stretch of neck and shoulder muscles like trapezius! Do: Shoulder & neck stretching exercises Shoulder pendular exercises Neck strengthening exercises

Your pain could be due to neck muscle spasm.. You should consult a physiotherapist in person for complete assessment and treatment. With electro therapy you will be out of pain and stiffness.

Apply diclofenac ointment on the affected area heat pack or warm, damp towel can help loosen and relax the muscles of neck and shoulder .

Self-massage for neck pain Lower your shoulders away from your ears. Straighten your neck and back. Locate the painful areas on your neck. Press firmly with your fingers. Gently move your fingers in circular motions. Repeat in the opposite direction. Continue for 3 to 5 minutes.

Apppy diclofenac ointment, do hot water fermentation twice a day, dont put pressure or lift excessive weights which stretches the muscles. Rest if you feeling pain while workout. If the pain does'nt reduces visit nearby physiotherapy clinic and get assessed for the same.

It is May be due to muscle spasm
Next Steps
Visit nearest Physiotherapy clinic and take Ultrasound therapy and IFT for 5-7 days After pain relief you can start neck strengthening exercises to prevent this kind of pain in future

Its neck spasm, visit nearby physiotherapy clinic take ultrasonic therapy to reduce spasm and inflammation. After reducing pain start doing stretching and strengthening exercises to ur neck
