Pain after injection.
I had spasm in my lower back 7 days ago. The doctor suggested rest and pain killer. For immediate relief, he gave a diclofenec ased injection in my right butt area. The muscle spasm has healed itself but the area of injection still pains sharply when touched and also i feel slight numb in the area. Is it normal? What should I do if iy isn't normal? Please advice.

Hello there. I can understand your concern. Yes it's normal in some individuals. While giving injection when a patient contracts the muscles, the pain lasts for a few days. You can take a tab. Lyser-D twice a day after food for 3 days. Best regards. Dr. Anil Kumar Jain. Bangalore.
