Paediatric Psychiatry - Son crying a lot
Hi, my son is 3.8 years and studying in pre KG. Nowadays he is crying a lot. There was a function in school and he prepared very well for speech. But once he get the mike, he didn't even open his mouth. Not seems like stage fear. When we asks what happened in school, he is telling some imaginary information, not the real information. If we are something repeated, he starts crying, not answering anything. During sleep he cried a couple of times. Can someone help me what could be the reason and how to bring him out of this.

Hello ma’am! It looks like the child is definitely anxious (as evident due to repeated crying episodes in sleep and sudden change in behaviour) This would require detailed assessment and evaluation.
Next Steps
Consult a psychiatrist.
