Hi...one can avoid negative thinking by practicing mindfulness and challenging unhelpful thoughts with positive affirmations. Stay active through physical activities or hobbies that uplift your mood. Surround yourself with supportive people and focus on positivity. Keep a gratitude journal to shift attention to the good in life and nurture a positive mindset.
First of all,if any repetitive thoughts come to yr mind, just raise yr index finger and say loudly 'NO' if u r at home. But in public whisper 'NO'.Practice for a week. Slowly it will decrease.Try to be with yr family members/friends. If u will remain aloof ,thoughts will come again &again. If no improvement then u need medicines. All the BEST.Don't worry
