Hi doc, In my BMD test I was diagnosed with Osteopenia, plz help, how can i increase my Vit D levels asap.....it is disrupting my day to day activities...

Hi mam Your age is 40. At this age many things happen so don't worry just maintain your diet. :-Drink milk without malai :-eat sprouts once in a day :- take sun bath daily. :- eat fibrous fruit and vegetable salad. And if you want stay healthy and active then you can take this. :- one tablet of albendazole once in a month :- 2  tablet of Yograj guggul OD ( after breakfast) with water :- 2 tablet of Geriforte OD ( after dinner) before sleep with milk. :- Do massage of your legs and arm and back with mahanarayn oil two or three times in a weak

Sun exposure daily for 30-45 mins , milk and eggs are sources of vitamin D

At age 40 you have to be strong and not just believe these BMD machine reports. Osteopenia is body producing less of new bone and reabsorbs old bone. Hence Start considering 1. Take a walk btw 7am to 9am , this helps you getting sun exposure, which will increase the generation of Vitamin D naturally. 2. Dietary - Milk and egg daily

Any past medical history or any addiction?reports ? Take Asthiposhak tablet 2-0-2. Bd/af Vit d capsule 60000iu once a week for 8 weeks Dhatu poshak churan 5grm -0-5grm with milk If required consult a Ayurveda doctor for Basti(enema)
