Care AI Shimmer
Fibro-epithelial polyp does not recur as cancer ✔ A flat white patch without ulcer, lump, or induration is low risk ✔ Fluctuating whiteness suggests local irritation or healing changes Continue topical Kenacort only if prescribed, for short courses Maintain good oral hygiene Avoid sharp teeth, dentures, tobacco, smoking, gutkha, alcohol Ensure there is no constant trauma at that site A repeat biopsy is NOT routinely required unless you notice: Increase in size or thickness Ulceration or bleeding Pain or hardness Rapid change in appearance Persistence without improvement for several months Regular follow-up with an oral surgeon or ENT every 3–6 months is sufficient for observation.
