Mam You only need to avoid  hot food  stuffs till 24 hrs or till if there  is any swelling .after that you can have any thing at room temperature and after 24hrs do warm saline rinses 3-4 times a day upto a week .this will enhance  healing The discomfort is only for 24-48hrs of extraction after that it keeps on slowing down gradually so it is normal.
