Oral herpes test accury
First time I had blisters near my upper lips 4 months back. Doctor diagnosed it as oral herpes. I got treated with antivirals. I got another couple of blisters again last week, he said it is recurrent herpes. I was asked to take blood test. All hsv1 &2 Igg and Igm showed negative. I'm not sure should I trust reports or symptoms. My doctor says it could still be cold sore. Is 4 months good enough time for blood tests to work?
