Oral Herpes (HSV 1) outbreak post Run
Hello, I had ran a 21km run last Sunday. Last few kms few quite exhausting. 3 days after, I had high fever (running upto 102°), feeling extremely cold and mouth ulcers started popping up. Fever has been treated with Paracetamol (650mg) and is under control (still have slight fever and weakness). But the mouth ulcers has been troubling (atleast 3-4 on tongue and 3-4 in upper walls or inner cheek walls). I believe this is Oral Herpes (can someone confirm based on above symptoms) and also what precautions/treatment should be followed?

Yes it looks like herpes, but you need to find out the cause of fever, usually during any stressful situation your body experiences, herpes infection reoccurs. Precautions that you need to take is avoid contact with others. Take good amount of rest, hydrate your self well and take good nutrition.
Next Steps
Kindly meet a good internal medicine specialist, and find the reason for your fever, and he will prescribe you antiviral medications to reduce the ulcers.
