Want to know the stage of this cancer and what can we do now ? Biopsy report says : The specimen consists of four greyish white soft tissue pieces measuring 0.2 to 0.6 cms. Entire pieces taken for embedding in 1 cassette. Specimen Gross By: Dr. Pinky Paliwal Microscopic: Biopsy reveals a squamous papillomatous lesion showing mild hyperkeratosis and epithelial hyperplasia. The submucosal tissue shows collection of acute & chronic inflammatory cells. There is no evidence of dysplasia or malignancy. Impression : Squamous Papillomatous Hyperplasia. Invasive malignancy not seen.

Considering the imaging report and biopsy report I would suggest you to repeat your biopsy as cancer cells are not found in the current sample . You can request for review from the pathology team , if still the report is same would suggest you to repeat biopsy . The growth according to your CT scan report is advanced stage (stage IV A ), and seems to be cancerous based on the clinical picture . Please note that this is based on the CT scan report and as such cancer is not proven so far . You can consider starting treatment only after proving cancer . And this is still in a treatable stage . You can consult me online if you wish so , or need any clarification on my suggestions. And would be willing to give letter or prescription of the same to your treating doctor .
