My 17-year-old son was involved in a bike accident and is experiencing severe pain in his ankle joint. The doctor has suggested surgery for his ankles, stating that there are no fractures in the bones but that the surgery would be beneficial to prevent future pain, especially when walking on steps. I am seeking a second opinion before making a decision. Any recommendations or insights would be greatly appreciated. Please find the reports.
