My mother is scared of MRI machines. Her thighs need to be scanned.
Is there any place in Mumbai that has open MRI machine so that her face doesn't enter the machine?

There is no such thing as an open MRI machine. You should make your mother understand that it is just a matter of few minutes and how much is it necessary to undergo it and there is no need to fear as the machine can be stopped as soon as she feel any discomfort.
Dear sir
Greetings for the day
As I read your concern regarding your mother , she needs to be counseled and informed that the machine is absolutely harmless.
There is no portable or open MRI.
It is very normal for patients fo be scared of such machine bur they have to be informed and talked to.
Also pls tell ma'am, that during MRI she is not alone , always attendants and relatives are there.she is not alone.
It is planned and harmless...and not at all lengthy process ....she should talk to the doctor and over come her fears.
Also, I want to know if ma'am is scared of closed places like lifts, basements etc...??
If you need my help, pls feel free to chat with me.
Thanks and regards
Next Steps
