Only few hours bleeding after abortion
My last LMP was 9th Feb and I took a pregnancy urine test which came out positive. I completed my medical abortion by taking the 2nd dose of medicine that is I took 4 misoprostol tablets today under the supervision of a clinic. I started bleeding in the clinic itself within 1 hour with heavy cramps. I just passed one large clot from urine. But after I came back home the bleeding gradually became scanty and stopped completely within 6 hours. Is this normal?

According to your LMP your pregnancy is just 5wks 4days.. so only gestational sac will be there. For most of the people it will get expelled within hours after taking misoprostol. As you said your bleeding is stopped it means sac is expelled and abortion is complete.. sometimes there will be spotting for next few days and will get stopped with in a week. For safe side ., you should recheck your scan after a week to comfirm complete abortion. Review with your gynaec after a week. Dont worry
