One pint beer in a month
Can i drink beer ocasionally like one or 2 pint in a month or two. Does that cause dibetes or other serious issue. Sometimes i go for 5-6 months without drinking. I am not addicted. I am 74kg 6'1 height my blood pressure remains 120/70. Resting heart rate is around 48-60 varies from sleeping to sitting. Is it okay for me to consume beer ocassionally

Even though low level of alcohol consumption has been found beneficial for the heart in various studies (mostly in western population), we don’t recommend that to patients for the risk of abuse and dependency in the long run. Alcohol can increase Triglyceride levels, can cause abnormal heart beats , increase BP and weaken heart muscle in the long run.

Your resting heart rate is normal. Its your person choice to have social drinks.
