My 5 month old baby has a large pigmentation birthmark on her cheek. Doctor says it is harmless and will fade away over time. Can I apply olive oil to my baby's birthmark to moisturize it? Will it help lighten the birthmark?

You can use olive oil to moisturize... But unlikely that it wil fade with that... If it's heamangioma there is a chance that it wil improve... If it's a melanocytic Naevus... Unlikely it will resolve on its own...
