Acne, needs regular skin care routine along with proper antibiotics, exfoliants. Use gentle cleanser for washing face 2-3 times daily(as harsh cleansing can damage skin and increase infection of acne) Apply moisturizer immediately after washing face, to retain moisture in skin as healthy skin needs it. (Moisture and oily skin is different) After moisturizer, apply sunscreen during day time. Use only NON-COMEDOGENIC sunscreen( as other sunscreen will block follicles and increase acne) Early treatment based on severety grade will always prevent PIGMENTATION and SCARS. ACNE SHOULD BE TREATED BASED ON THE SEVERETY GRADE. Sometimes it needs combination of drugs. Without proper consultation from a dermatologist, using only clindamycin might UNDER treat the acne, progressing to nodular/pustular acne and SEVERE ACNE DAMAGES DERMIS OF SKIN causing scars and pigmentation.
Next Steps
consult or chat with me online/any dermatologist for proper prescription after grading your acne with clear photos.
Health Tips
wash/change your towel every 2 days. change your pillow cover every 5 days. Do not frequently touch your face with hands. DO NOT SQUEEZE the lesions, as it damages dermis of skin, causing DEEP SCARS AND PIGMENTATION, which is difficult to treat.

Plain clindamycin for acne is not a good choice as it increases  chances of resistance and it becomes ineffective.. please get direct consultation with Dermatologist to get treatment for acne as well as pigmentation
