Ointment and sanitary napkins
Please help.. I developed a vaginal cyst (abscess) For which my gynaec game to tablets and povidine iodine (betadine ointment) to apply twice a day.. But today i got my periods.. So should i continue applying or should stop off till i am done with monthly cycle? Or i can continue applying the ointment twice per day?? Also one more question.. Can i use sanitary pads as usual???

It is how many days since you have been using the tablets and ointment. For an abscess if the tablets had to work, they should have shown results by now, at least your pain should have gone completely. Now please continue with the tablets, (antibodies and painkillers) ,  you can suspend use of ointment.  You should consult with your Gynaecologist again after your periods, if you really need treatment for your abscess.
