CR stands for controlled release tablet. Controlled-release formulations are absorbed more slowly than conventional tablets and produce more stable serum levels.

The medicine is the same. However cr is controlled release. It means medicine is released and absorbed slowly in body. The effects of uvox cr preparation will last longer so less frequent doses. Also plain uvox can sometimes cause acidity problems. That also is avoided by uvox cr preparation.

Even though the chemical is same in both the tablets... CR is the term used to indicate controlled release. If you take uvox then probably frequency of dose is to be increased
Next Steps
take uvox cr if has been prescribed by your doctor
Health Tips
contact your doctor if you dnt get it, he would arrange for it through a pharmacist or change the brand
