Occult blood positive
My baby is six months old.she got stomach infection last week and her Dr prescribed antibiotics. What can be reason for having occult blood positive in baby stool? I have started dal Pani n rice water.other than other criteria in her routine test shows normal

Intestinal infection may cause occult blood in stool...it is cause by oral route...so keep good hygiene....and at this age baby put all things in mouth which might cause the infection so take care of it...

It might be due to infection. Since child has already been taken antibiotics. Nothing to do as of now. Maintain hygiene

rice water and daal water not sufficient. you need to give semi solid food now.
