My baby is 4 months old on complete breast feed weighing 6.02 kg. For past few weeks she has been passing greenish mucus watery stools. She has been taking CEFOLAC and BIFILAC GG granules for past 3-4 days as initial stool test had reducing substance positive and polymorphonuclear leukocytes between 10-15 /hpf.
From past 2 days we noticed blood in stool and got another stool test done which shows occult blood, RBC, mucus, visible blood present (attached report).
Could you please advise if what does this report indicate?
What does RBC,occult blood presence mean?
Is there any issue with breast milk and should we change anything in mothers diet?

There is an infection but it will improve with treatment. Leukocytes, RBCs, occult blood all can be there during infection. There is nothing wrong with breast milk and no changes to ne made in mothers diet. Contact again if loose motions not better or any other problems.
