OCD is about rigid beliefs and compulsive behaviour. There is a connection that a person connects for thoughts with actions. These are followed by anxiety reducing compulsive or safety behaviours. The key is to stop this cycle by targeting the obsessions and compulsions with different techniques. Also exposure and different type of graded techniques might be required in 8-10sessions there can be very high relief to the client.
